Randal (Randy) Alan Barnhart was called to be the Senior Minister of Johns Creek Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) on March 15, 2009.
Randy has a BA in Religion from Atlanta Christian College, a Master of Arts (NT) from Emmanuel School of Religion and a Juris Doctor from the College of Law at Georgia State University.
Randy brings over 30 years of ministry experience to JCCC. He began his ministry at Concord Christian Church in Concord NC in 1985, then served as Associate Minister at First Christian Church in Macon GA from 1987 – 1989, and Senior Minister at Community Christian Church in Fayetteville GA from 1989 – 1998. After a break to attend law school, Randy served as Associate Minister at Peachtree Christian Church from 2001 – 2009 when he was called to JCCC.
Randy firmly believes and lives the mission of the church; to lead people into a growing relationship with God through Jesus Christ. He is both a “head” and "heart" preacher and his sermons are based on extensive study, research and prayer, but are also filled with love, understanding and compassion for the weakest among us.
Under Randy’s leadership, JCCC will be a Christ-focused church committed to the spiritual growth if our members and our community.

Kyle just finished a year of campus ministry in Birmingham, England where he worked with college-aged students in a variety of settings. Kyle hails from Franklin, Georgia (near Newnan, GA) and is a 2008 graduate of Atlanta Christian College where he majored in New Testament and Preaching. He is excited about the opportunity to work with our children and youth and comes with great energy and a readiness to focus on the ministry of JCCC.
